More of the Little Guy

Doug's brother Jeff and his wife Jen sent this cute doctor outfit to Landon a while ago.  He finally grew into it.  It's so dang cute.

Is he being brainwashed by his Dad to love the Jazz??? The answer is.... Absolutely.

Landon doesn't believe in sleeping in the correct direction.  I find him like this every morning.  So funny!

So fresh and so clean, clean

 So sleepy.

Now this is what I call talent.  He prefers his whole fist to a binkie anyday!

These two pictures were taken before church one Sunday.  I figured there needs to be a picture of Doug and I on here every once in a while. :)

The Big 5

That's my boy! 5 months old! I love all of these pictures so I couldn't just choose one to post.
Enjoy!

First Haircut

On Saturday morning before conference I went to get Landon out of his crib and he had what looked to be the beginnings of small dread locks in his hair... I decided then and there it was time for a haircut. At first I was thinking that we should just give him a summer buzz but he has had so much hair all of his short life that I couldn't just shave it all off. So Doug found his inner barber skills and trimmed up the boys hair.

We have had summer like weather lately. So we find ourselves on an evening walk before bedtime. He fell asleep shortly after this picture was taken.

Mom and Landon

Don't you love the hair? I think it turned out so cute! Although he doesn't look like a baby anymore. It kind of makes me sad, but ya can't stop them from growing I guess. Oh and I know what you're all thinking...and yes, that is a pink bouncer he's chillin in. We inherited that from aunt Carri.

All the conference excitement tuckered the poor boy out!

In the last couple weeks....

I am in love with this little smile. He thinks he's so big sitting in his bumbo seat.

Priceless picture. It's match your Dad Day! Those are two handsome guys right there.

Landon's first try at rice cereal. Not much of a success unfortunately. Since then he has started eating really well. The kid is a little piggy!

Lovin' his bath time!

Love My Lucy Bee

Recently I bought a plane ticket to go to Ohio and see my sister Casey and her family. It seems as though my little nieces are stoked to see me. Lucy (5 years old) sent me this letter in the mail. I thought it was cute. She did such a good job!

This is what was inside. Apparently she is really "itsidid" (excited) for me to come to her house. I can't wait to see you either Lucy!

Spring Break 2012

We always love it when Grandpa Jim and Grammy Judy come to town! My parents came out to visit us for a few days and we had a heck of good time.
The first day we visited historic Independence Missouri and went to the Visitor's Center and Community of Christ temple which is always interesting. When we finished there we made our way over to Liberty Jail. I couldn't believe the size of that place. Living down in the bottom of that thing would have been awful!
On the second day we visited Adam Ondi Ahman and Farr West. Jim couldn't get enough of the historic sites.

Landon chillin with Grandpa
We look awesome! And we ended the weekend with a trip to see the Kansas City temple that will be dedicated in May. We are so excited for it to finally be finished!
Doug got Lasik eye surgery with some of our tax return... totally worth it. He now sees "in crystal clear, high definition". At least that's what he tells Landon :) These are the awesome eye goggles he had to wear to bed so that he didn't accidentally rub his eyes in his sleep. I giggled every morning waking up to that.
We also made it out to Branson, MO during Doug's two week break! This is the sweet putt putt course at our hotel. We were stoked!
This is the Hollywood Wax Museum
This was a random restaurant with a giant chicken that we thought was funny.
We were lucky that we got to see Branson before the storm that came the next week. It brought tornados that ripped some of Branson to pieces :(
It never hurts to see this face again. His little smile makes us so happy!

4 Month Photos

So I made the mistake of going and paying for Landon to have his pictures taken... turns out he was ticked the whole time and we didn't even get one of him smiling. I should have just taken them myself because in the comfort of our own home he gave us these beauties.

We love you Landon!
