Spring Break 2012

We always love it when Grandpa Jim and Grammy Judy come to town! My parents came out to visit us for a few days and we had a heck of good time.
The first day we visited historic Independence Missouri and went to the Visitor's Center and Community of Christ temple which is always interesting. When we finished there we made our way over to Liberty Jail. I couldn't believe the size of that place. Living down in the bottom of that thing would have been awful!
On the second day we visited Adam Ondi Ahman and Farr West. Jim couldn't get enough of the historic sites.

Landon chillin with Grandpa
We look awesome! And we ended the weekend with a trip to see the Kansas City temple that will be dedicated in May. We are so excited for it to finally be finished!
Doug got Lasik eye surgery with some of our tax return... totally worth it. He now sees "in crystal clear, high definition". At least that's what he tells Landon :) These are the awesome eye goggles he had to wear to bed so that he didn't accidentally rub his eyes in his sleep. I giggled every morning waking up to that.
We also made it out to Branson, MO during Doug's two week break! This is the sweet putt putt course at our hotel. We were stoked!
This is the Hollywood Wax Museum
This was a random restaurant with a giant chicken that we thought was funny.
We were lucky that we got to see Branson before the storm that came the next week. It brought tornados that ripped some of Branson to pieces :(
It never hurts to see this face again. His little smile makes us so happy!

4 Month Photos

So I made the mistake of going and paying for Landon to have his pictures taken... turns out he was ticked the whole time and we didn't even get one of him smiling. I should have just taken them myself because in the comfort of our own home he gave us these beauties.

We love you Landon!

January/ February Happenings

He's 3 months old folks! Landon's new trick as of this week... rolling over!
David Beckham's hair look alike :)
Landon loves his sleep, which is so nice for Doug and I. He basically sleeps through the night and is a great when it comes to napping. Doug is also a good napper...when he's not studying. The pictures prove it.

I love his little smile in this picture. His gut is pretty awesome too!
Look at those handsome guys!

2 Months Old!

The little man is 2 months! I can't believe it.
Landon's Stats
Height 23.5 inches (67th percentile)
Weight 12 lbs 4 oz (73rd percentile)
Landon is getting more and more fun everyday. We just love him so much. He has become so smiley. How could I ever get upset at that little face? So cute.

Happy New Year!

Happy 2012!

We have made shotgunning a Welch's grape soda a New Year's tradition. If you don't know what that means here is your explanation... A hole is carefully cut in the bottom of the can so that you don't lose any of the liquid. Place the hole to your mouth and open the regular opening in the can. The air from the top pushes the rest of the drink down into your mouth and you must consume the whole contents of the can before you can done. I always feel so disgusting and like I'm going to throw up every time I do this. It's a good thing we only do it once a year!

Randoms

I love this picture. This is Doug's idea of babysitting.
On the way home from Utah we stopped in Nebraska for the night and took Landon swimming for the first time. He loved it.
Grandma Carol got these cute scrubs for all the grandkids for Christmas.

White Elephant

I retract my statement about having no pictures from the White Elephant party. My sister in law Jess was kind enough to send me one that she took. As you can see we are both stoked about our awesome gifts. And I find it funny that Landon's head is placed so perfectly by the squirrel's rear end.
